With over 25 years of legal experience, Christopher P. James, Esq. has a deep knowledge of Virginia case law, successfully representing thousands of clients in Alexandria, Fairfax and Prince William Counties.
Prior to opening his firm in 1989, Mr. James was an investigator for Prudential Associates. That knack for research and evidence gathering now benefits his legal clients, as Mr. James helps them resolve criminal and civil matters, such as bankruptcy, driving under the influence, domestic violence and assault.
Mr. James holds a Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor in Arts. He was admitted to the Federal courts in 1989 (Bankruptcy & Magistrate), is a Certified Guardian Ad Litem-Virginia and is an Indigent Defense Certification in Circuit, Genera and Juvenile Courts. A lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, Mr. James and his wife Georgina raised their two children in the community: Jagger, who attends James Madison University and Jade, enrolled at the University of Virginia. Mr. James swam in college, and remains active in Master’s Swimming. A history and travel buff, his other hobbies include being an avid antique collector, specializing in rare books and advertising.
Mr. James believes in giving back, and has volunteered his time at organizations such as Vienna Little League and Big Brothers of America.
